Transportable Hot Water Power Stations

These units serve for thermal energy generation in the form of hot water, electric energy or cooling energy. PECTs have practically unlimited thermal and electric outputs, obtained by combining individual hot water boiler rooms with outputs from 60 kW to 20 MW. The electric energy generation to be supplied into the distribution network or for PECT service consumption is provided by additional MKJ modules with co-generating units based on gas engines or diesel generator sets, with electric outputs of 20 kW - 1 MW. By connecting a MC module with an absorber cooler with a capacity from 300 to 1300 kW the cooling performance required is covered by using the station's waste heat. PECTs may be supplemented with storage reservoirs, which makes the operation of MKJ modules with co-generating units based on gas engine or diesel generator sets more effective.

Some examples of PECP modulation and configuration are:

    1. self-contained transportable PV hot water boiler room or transportable KK boiler room of hot water type
      • heat source in the form of hot water for technological or heating purposes
      • requires power supply from the distribution network of other sources for the station service consumption

    1. transportable PV hot water boiler room or transportable KK boiler room of hot water type + MKJ module with co-generating unit based on gas engine or diesel generator set
      • heat source in the form of hot water for technological or heating purposes
      • provides power supply for the service ("island") operation or supplies electricity into the distribution network

    1. transportable PV hot water boiler room or transportable KK boiler room of hot water type + MC module with absorber cooler
      • heat source in the form of hot water for technological or heating purposes
      • cooling performance for technological purposes
      • requires power supply from the distribution network or from other sources for the station service consumption
